Here is a wonderful review I have just got of my new book:
The background of the book, the external circle, is authentic and realistic, but the greatness of the novel is mainly achieved by the inner conflicts of the characters. The psychological perspective is described through a rare combination of rhetorical devices (myth and legends, Judaism, religions, history, images and a delicate touch of metaphors), while Past and Present are intervened during the act of reading. This way the reader from the 21st century fees as one of the participants/protagonists and can identify with them. Needless to say that the integration of fantasy and reality turns "When the Dead Returned" to a unique book in modern Israeli Prose.
